George E. Case and family papers, 1902-1927.

Reminiscences [undated] by Case, who was a member of the Sixth Minnesota Infantry's 1863 "Moscow Expedition" from Fort Snelling to the Crow Creek Indian Agency on the Missouri River in Dakota Territory. Also included are obituaries of his wife Kate (1927); a biographical sketch and diaries of their daughter Mabel (1902-1908), noting social activities, her work as a teacher in Minnesota communities, her studies, and her European travels; and letters of their daughter Maud describing a trip from Minneapolis to a mining camp in the Yukon, Alaska, in 1903 (17 pages, typed copies).
